나는 서울 곳곳의 거리로 이끌렸다. 방식은 여러가지였다. 문자, 쪽지, 전화, 음성, 연속 사진, 그리고 손 붙잡혀 뛰기까지. 헤드폰에선 음악과 함께 내러티브들이 들려왔다. 이 색다른 이끎과 소리들은 서울의 거리를 바라보는 내 시선을 살짝 비틀어 놓았다. 서울의 거리가 무대로 치환된 것이다. 그 거리에서 나는 주인공이면서 동시에 관객이었다.
시키는 대로 거리를 바라 봤다. 천천히 걸어가면서, 잠시 멈춰서서, 벽에 기대서, 옥상에 올라가서 봤다. 익숙하지만 낯선 풍경들이 눈 앞에 펼쳐졌다. 골목길과 대로변, 시장과 백화점, 다방과 카페. 대비되는 풍경들이 교차했다. 때론 시간이 멈춘 것 같았고, 때론 내가 공중에 붕 떠 있는 것 같았다. 참 묘했다. 서울 한복판에서 세상과 분리된 느낌을 받다니.
사람들도 보인다. 시장 안의 사람들과 백화점 안의 사람들, 장사 안되는 다방 주인과 바쁜 카페 알바생, 무표정한 거리의 어른들과 천진난만한 표정의 어린아이들, 외국인들, 호텔 안의 사람들, ... 재밌다. 그동안 사람을 단지 대상으로만 바라보지 않았나 하는 생각을 해본다. 마음에 여유가 없었던 걸까?
똑같은 말을 반복하기도, 서로 다른 말들을 이곳 저곳에서 던지기도 하는 내러티브들은 내 생각을 자극했다. 잊혀졌던 생각, 하지 못했던 생각들이 떠올랐다. 이따금은 내 마음의 소리를 듣는 것 같기도 했다. 그동안 가까운 것들에 너무 무관심하지 않았나 하는 생각이 든다. 나 자신을 포함해서 말이다.
기대와 전혀 다른 공연이었지만 아주 만족스러운 공연이었다. 아직도 잔상이 머릿속을 뱅뱅 맴돈다. 앞으로 또 이런 공연을 만날 수 있을까? 아니면 누군가 루트를 정해주지 않아도 나 스스로 세상을 비틀어 볼 수 있을까?
뱀발: 사진을 많이 찍을걸 그랬다. 왠지 사진 찍기에 신경을 분산시키고 싶지 않았다. 하지만 뒤돌아보니 역시 사진이 아쉽다. 특히 지령 쪽지와 사진을 반납해야 한다는 걸 알았으면 미리 찍어두는 건데... 트래킹 어플도 켜둘 걸 그랬다. 기록을 많이 남기지 못한 것이 못내 아쉽다.

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
one or two images. Maybe you could space it out
better?
